Field-Service Methodology

Structured field work before published case studies.

Real customer case studies will be added only when the work, customer permission, outcomes and technical details are approved for publication.

Method

A consistent process for service calls, inspections and partner assignments.

This methodology shows how NexMotion approaches robotics field service without inventing customer stories or unsupported outcomes.

01

Understand the Complaint

Capture the reported issue, operating context, affected unit, urgency, site conditions and available history.

02

Inspect the Equipment

Review visible condition, equipment identification, safety state, physical damage, wiring, sensors, batteries, charging interface and mechanical assemblies.

03

Review Fault Information

Collect available fault codes, alerts, logs, screenshots and operator observations for the OEM or remote support team.

04

Test and Measure

Use approved procedures and safe measurements to narrow the issue across mechanical, electrical, battery, charging, sensor, drive or connectivity systems.

05

Identify Probable Cause

Document observed evidence and separate confirmed findings from items that require OEM or engineering escalation.

06

Repair or Escalate

Perform authorized onsite work or escalate clearly when parts, software access, engineering input or manufacturer direction is required.

07

Functional Verification

Verify the equipment after service within the agreed scope and document any remaining concerns.

08

Document the Result

Provide a clear field-service record with photos, measurements, work performed, final status and recommended next steps.
